• Herringbone SwingOver EuroClass 800

GEA’s Herringbone SwingOver EuroClass 800 milking parlour system will save you precious farming time and maximise your dairying throughput for minimal investment.

This integrated dairying solution has three components: the EuroClass 800 herringbone milking parlour, the ground-breaking PosiSwing milking arm and an electronic milking control mechanism. These components can be easily combined and/or extended, as required to meet your milk production needs.

The EuroClass 800 herringbone milking parlour’s key feature is that two milking stalls can be served at the same time. This is what GEA calls the ‘1 for 2’ principle, and is facilitated by the milking arms, milking clusters and milking control equipment being erected over the milking pit. This innovative milking system alternates between sides so that the cow ‘A’ is being milked in stall ‘1’, Cow ‘B’ can be moved to stall ‘2’ and when ready a simple flick of the wrist swings the milking cluster to the opposite stall.

Some of the key benefits of the SwingOver EuroClass 800 milking parlour system include:

    Improved yield and throughput:
The system’s alternating process allows you to milk continuously for higher throughput and yield.

    Enhanced ergonomics:
Shorter pathways allow the animal and milking clusters to be more easily reached.

    Save time:
All components are located centrally over your milking pit and positioned at your optimal working height, allowing you to easily save time in your milking process. Alternating the stalls ensures you can milk continuously and faster.

    Higher quality milk:
Short hose pathways optimises milk flow to provide better quality milk.

    Good udder health:
Low strength vacuum as a result of shorter hose lines promote better udder health as it is gentler on the animal.

Control the entire milking process from one device:
Use either the DemaTron or MetaTron milking control devices to manage the entire milking process.

    Cost-effective, low investment:
As the milking parlour units each serve two stalls, and you need only a single milking control device and cluster for each stall, this system is great value for a lower investment.

    Automatic milking:
When PosiSwing milking arm is swung out, the milking process commences automatically and is controlled via your milking control device.

Sizes to suit your dairy farm:
Available in various sizes to suit your milk production needs, from 2×4 to 2×32 cows.

    Reduced workload:
Your milking parlour electronics take control of the system, dramatically cutting your workload. Your milking control device controls the entire process. Open and close gates from any milking stall using your control unit, cutting out the frustration of walking from gate to gate.

    Data to optimise milk production:
Your milking control device is connected to an online milking management system, giving you very useful data to optimise your dairy herd’s performance.

    Compatible components:
Modular design ensures that all components are completely compatible with each other.
